MuteDeck v4.9.2
This release has a few quality of life improvements: Webex and Teams working again after both apps changed how they render their controls, adds a progress window for manual updates, smooths out license entry, and fixes a startup crash on macOS.
Webex Works Again
Cisco merged everything into one Webex app that renders its controls differently, and MuteDeck is now updated for it. Detection is back and mute, video, screen share, recording, and leave all work on macOS and Windows.
Teams "Leave Meeting" Fixed
Microsoft Teams v26163.407.4839.8659 (I know, right?) and above changed the Leave button a bit and moved it out of reach, breaking the ability to leave a meeting (the window wouldn't even come forward). It works again on macOS and Windows, with a keyboard-shortcut fallback.
Progress During Manual Updates
Manual updates run after the app closes and can take a few minutes with nothing on screen — looking like a hang. They now show a small progress window with the current step and a progress bar.
Other Improvements
- Easier License Entry: Pasting works no matter where your cursor is, and valid keys are no longer trimmed or rejected. It's easier to paste a key.
- Startup crash (macOS): Fixed a potential crash about a second after entering your license on a fresh install, caused by macOS Accessibility not being granted yet. MuteDeck now waits for access before probing meeting apps.
- Update checks: Made them aware of their surroundings so an update can't be triggered while another window (license, settings, or meeting time) is open.
