QuickFire Privacy Policy
Last Updated: November 25, 2025
Overview
QuickFire ("the Extension") stores your keyboard shortcut configurations locally in your browser using Chrome's sync storage API. No data is sent to external servers.
Information Stored
The Extension stores the following data locally in your browser:
- Selector values you specify (text content, aria-labels, or CSS selectors)
- Keyboard shortcut combinations you configure
- URL patterns you define
- Match index selections
If Chrome sync is enabled, this data syncs across your devices via Chrome's built-in sync functionality.
What the Extension Does Not Do
- Collect personal information
- Track browsing history
- Monitor keyboard activity beyond configured shortcuts
- Make network requests to external servers
- Use cookies or tracking technologies
- Share data with third parties
Permissions Explained
- storage: Save shortcut configurations locally in your browser
- activeTab: Communicate with the current tab for live element preview when configuring shortcuts
- host_permissions for all URLs: Inject the content script that listens for configured keyboard shortcuts on all websites
These permissions serve core functionality only.
Third-Party Services
QuickFire does not integrate with or send data to any third-party services.
Children's Privacy
QuickFire collects no information from anyone, including children under 13. The Extension requires no registration or account.

- Delete all configured shortcuts
- Uninstall the Extension
Uninstalling the Extension removes all locally stored data automatically.
Data Security
QuickFire does not collect, transmit, or store data on external servers. Your data security depends on your browser's security.
