MuteDeck v4.12.1

Improved Fixed

A patch release that keeps your busylight and webhooks steady during meetings, fixes Meeting Time Stats, and brings a handful of Teams and other fixes.

  • No more false "call ended": Opening a Teams menu or a new Zoom window can hide the meeting for a moment, and MuteDeck reported that as the call ending. Busylights went free, webhooks fired and MeetingDebrief split recordings. MuteDeck now waits a few seconds first, adjustable in Settings → Notifications.
  • Meeting Time Stats: The meeting time could miss minutes when a meeting was briefly detected as ended. Fixed, and the stats now count every minute.
  • Teams mic/camera menu (macOS): Opening the mic/camera menus no longer makes MuteDeck say "No call".
  • Typing in Teams chat: Muting through MuteDeck no longer moves your cursor out of the chat box.
  • Main window: Opening the main window mid-call now shows the correct status, instead of "No call".
  • Hotkeys: Changes in Settings now apply right away, without a restart.
  • Opening MuteDeck again (macOS): Opening it from Finder, Spotlight or Raycast while it's already running now shows its window. Helps when the menu bar icon is hidden by macOS.
  • Webhooks: Changing your system mic during a call no longer sends "call ended", and quickly switching between calls no longer reports the wrong one.
  • Settings: Trial days left, app toggles and the Enable System Microphone switch now update when re-opening the settings.
  • Updater: No longer crashes when a download is (extremely) slow.
  • Simpler feedback form: Ideas and bug reports share one form, with diagnostics attached by default and a Record detailed logging checkbox right there.
